The 2nd Global Internet and Jurisdiction Conference of the Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network was an important milestone in addressing one of the greatest global governance challenges of the 21st century: how to manage the coexistence of national laws on the internet. When they convened in Ottawa, Canada, on February 26-28, 2018, key senior-level representatives from a wide range of stakeholder groups and countries worked toward the development of policy standards and operational solutions to at the same time fight abuses, protect human rights, and enable the global digital economy.
