Joint I&J - European Commission Workshop on Outcomes of the 2nd Global Conference of the Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network

On May 25, 2018, I&J Executive Director Bertrand de La Chapelle and Deputy Director Paul Fehlinger presented to the European Commission the outcomes of the 2nd Global Conference of the Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network, which took place on February 26-28, 2018, in Ottawa, Canada.
The one-day workshop also allowed the different Directorate-Generals to present the status of their ongoing work and their respective policy priorities regarding the topics addressed in the Work Plans defined by participants in the 2nd Global Conference. The meeting also marked an opportunity to discuss the future engagement of the European Commission in the work of the Policy Network in the perspective of the 3rd Global Conference, which will be held on June 3-5, 2019 in Berlin, in partnership with the government of Germany.
The European Commission provided institutional support for the organization of the 2nd Global Conference of the Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network in Ottawa, Canada.
