Key Discussion Topics
The Internet is widely used in all aspects of human communications around the world. This, in turn, requires new approaches to the legal practices and law regulations for online use. The legal challenges, trends, and best practices, as well as legal limitations arising from the structure of the Internet and problems of attributing the national jurisdiction in the cyberspace, was discussed at the session.

From WCIT 2012 TO WSIS 2015: Future Prospects
In 2012, the challenges of Internet governance topped the list of the most topical themes at various industry events. Governments, societies, businesses, and the technology community were all invited to the dialogue to assess the effectiveness of the processes initiated by the Tunis agenda. The attendees were also encouraged to work on propositions to further improve the global IGF. As the new WSIS meeting (WSIS +10) has been scheduled for 2015, the top industry players must evaluate the prospects for creating the international Internet governance system that will address today’s challenges in a constantly changing cyberspace.
