I&J Deputy Director Speaks at OECD Roundtable on Mechanisms for Privacy Interoperability

On May 15, 2018, I&J Deputy Director Paul Fehlinger provided introductory remarks for the Roundtable on Mechanisms for Privacy Interoperability organized by the OECD in Paris, France.
The Roundtable was an important step for the OECD Working Party on Security and Privacy in the Digital Economy (SPDE) to complete the revision of the draft report Towards National Privacy Strategies. The SPDE's mission is to develop analysis and recommendations to help governments and other stakeholders ensure that digital security and privacy protection foster the development of the digital economy.

- Gwendal LE GRAND, Director of Technology and Innovation, CNIL
- Melinda CLAYBAUGH, Counsel for International Consumer Protection at the Office of International Affairs, US Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
- Hikaru SHINOMIYA, Senior Associate, PricewaterhouseCoopers
- Carolyn NGUYEN, Director, Technology Policy, Microsoft
- Jeremy WEST, Senior Policy Analyst, OECD
The OECD provided institutional support for the organization of the 2nd Global Conference of the Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network in Ottawa, Canada.
