G20-B20 Digital Economy Summit

Argentina, being in the presidency of the G20 in 2018, invited the Secretariat of the Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network to participate in the G20-B20 Digital Economy Summit on July 30, 2019 in Buenos Aires.
The meeting gathered international leaders of G20 and B20 to discuss trends, challenges and opportunities regarding the economy of the future. It presented an important opportunity for the I&J Secretariat's Deputy Director Paul Fehlinger to share the outcomes of the 2nd Global Conference and the Ottawa Roadmap with G20 key actors. Addressing jurisdictional challenges in cyberspace is one of the greatest challenges in the development of a global digital economy, from e-commerce, over cloud services to the Internet of Things and 4th industrial revolution.
