New Website Launched

Shortly before hosting the Global Internet and Jurisdiction Conference in November, Internet & Jurisdiction is proud to reveal its new and improved website. The new site offers a streamlined user experience to better showcase the work of the Internet & Jurisdiction global policy network, including its programs on Data, Content, and Domains and the I&J Observatory.

Events and Publications

Events may now be browsed based on I&J’s participation (convened, organized, contributed). Publications have been divided into I&J Papers, which channel the I&J Process toward policy suggestions and recommendations for future action, and I&J Articles, which are guest contributions written by the Internet & Jurisdiction Secretariat for institutional publications or news outlets.

I&J Retrospect Database

Another addition to the website is the searchable Retrospect database, which gives users access to more than 1,000 cases of jurisdictional tension dating back to 2012. To better conduct research and detect global trends, users may search by keyword and results may be filtered by actors, issues, action focus, and mode. The latest additions to the Retrospect are displayed by default, giving users access to last month’s top 20 cases crowd-ranked by importance by members of the I&J Observatory.
